According to the data released by the Hellenic Statistical Authority, there is a significant economic recovery recorded in the 3rd quarter reflected in a gross domestic product increase of 13.7% compared to the same period last year, while on a quarterly basis it was up 2.7%.
The 13.7% increase places Greece first among EU countries, where the average is at 3.9%.

Furthermore, OECD forecasts that the Greek economy is expected to grow 6.7% in 2021, 4.8% in 2022 and 2.9% in 2023.
Finance Minister Christos Staikouras announced that the growth rate over the nine-month period stands at 9.3%.
